NZ-India trade: ‘Step, don’t jump’

The sudden appearance of miniature flags and matching black folios, at an event billed as celebrating “a new era of trade connections and partnerships” between New Zealand and India, might have been enough to set a latecomer’s heart aflutter.
But while the signing ceremony in question was undoubtedly significant for its participants – Christchurch-based technology studio JIX Reality and Indian firm DJ Interactive Solutions – it was not quite the trade deal that the current Government is so desperately seeking to agree to in its first term.
